Dearest familia,
Yes, I am feeling much better! Thanks! We lazer-tagged last week for P-day, and the excitement was too much! As a missionary you don't get out too often, and this was INTENSE! Hahahaha!!
I am SOOOOOO EXCITED to call you on Sunday!!!!! We have been invited over to a member's house around 1 pm to make our phone calls.
I will be sending your package home today! I sent off a few things separately already for grandparents, but other than that, I will be putting Christmas cards and letters to others in the package. Thank you for offering to deliver those for me! I love you :)
What a miracle to have our ward friends give us such a gift as that at such a time! We are surrounded by such wonderful and good people. My heart is happy in knowing that I have such amazing people in my life! I will be sending a letter to the ward to tell them my appreciation. :)
I love my life.
I love you!
Christmas this year is going to be so different (what with no snow and all)! But I think the biggest thing that makes it so different and special is the fact that as a missionary, I don't get to see all the unnecessary crazy stuff that the holidays bring. I can just focus on the TRUE meaning of Christmas: our Savior's birth.
It will be a humble Christmas this year; away from loved ones and far away... but in all honesty, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love being here. I love serving the Lord. I love sacrificing my Christmas for a better cause! I only get one chance to be a Sister Missionary at this time in my life, so I am going to do my best and live it up!
I am so grateful for my Savior. I love Jesus Christ and His ultimate sacrifice and Atonement. We can be healed through Him, and feel comfort from the pains of life. We can rejoice in knowing that there IS a way for us to gain Eternal Salvation! And it's all because of Him.
I pray that we all remember the Lord Jesus Christ this Christmas season, and always keep His Spirit with us! Christ should be remembered all year long... blessings come when we do this!
Give a present to our Savior this year: go out and serve someone in need.
I love you all, and wish a warm, sunshiney Christmas, all the way from T!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
Love, Sister Moore
