It's getting cooler! She asked for her sweaters.

Hey!

HOORAY FOR BAPTISMS!!! This week has been amazing (they all are), and so many miracles have been happening!! Saturday was Marie and Herbie's baptism, and it was so neat! Herbie went first and right after he came out of the water he looked up at his mom (Marie) who was waiting on the side for her turn, grinned, and then turned to all of us and just had the biggest smile on his face! I'll never forget that moment! And what's even cooler was when Marie was baptized she did the exact same thing! She immediately turned back to look at Herbie who stood there, soaking wet in his little jumpsuit, and then to all of us; a huge smile spread across her face! It was a brand new start to their new life! I live for these moments :)

Which is neat to think that it was on the Saturday....Mom and Dad's Anniversary! Congratulations, you two!! Tell Madds and Hunter that I was in on that present too, yeah? Even if they didn't know it at the time ;) Hehe I hope you had a good day!

Life here is just zooming along! I can't believe it's OCTOBER!! It's finally starting to feel like Autumn here! We're finally down in the 70's and I am loving it!! I think it may be time for you to send me my winter clothes.... sweaters and jackets and such... I feel bad always asking for you to send stuff, but.... it's hard out here to only shop once a week on a tight budget ;) I don't need them quite yet, but the temperature is definitely dropping!

I am so proud of the Primary! I'm excited for them on Sunday! I just know they'll do so great! I loved your little quotes from them :) I think we can all agree that Primary Programs are the bomb! They're awesome!

And tell Sam B congrats! He will have a blast on his mission! And tell Tom to hang in there as he waits for his call! I hope they are going to mission prep! Seriously, without that experience, I don't know how I could've survived the MTC! Everyone needs to go to that awesome class! I loved it so much, and can truly see the blessings from going.

And yes! Sadie lives here?! That's so cool! Give her my address for sure! We have a cell phone, but I think it'd be best not to give out that info.... :( Sorry. But tell her to write me, and we can exchange info! How fun!

This week went by extremely fast, and so much happened! But the weird thing is, nothing too big happened to write about besides the baptims! Just lesson after lesson after lesson :D It's no wonder missionaries are asked to keep strict rules; our focus needs to be so centered on this work! I'm sorry this email is short, but know that I love you, and I will send you a letter with more information in it in regards to YOUR email!

Stay true! I love you all!

Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah for Israel!
Love, your favorite missionary, Meg

I just want to share a quick thought before I log off... yesterday in Sacrament Meeting I was pondering a lot of things, and it was kind of hard for me. A mission truly has its ups and downs... One woman in this particular ward we were attending (we attend four) stood up to bear testimony. She told us to never EVER doubt our self worth, and never back down from what we can truly become. If we stay true to who we are, we can reach our highest potential and beyond. These words comforted my heart, and I felt so much at peace. It's hard to face so many people in one day and have many turn you down. It's hard to love an investigator who decides to leave the Gospel and never meet with missionaries again. It's hard to stay so completely focused on this work.... but it's all possible with the help of our Savior. I also feel that it's the people behind me, lifting me up and pushing me along, that are the ones that keep me going. As I sat and thought about these things the woman said "There's somebody out there who cares for us...always"

I could only smile as I thought of all of you back home. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your sacrifices. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. We missionaries literally LIVE off these things.... and I consider myself the luckiest missionary in the world to have THE BEST support group EVER! And never forget that all of YOU, (friends, family, everyone) are also in MY prayers. Always.

And it's also so wonderful to know that our Savior is always by our sides! WE just have to be the ones who reach out and grab His hand for support.

Isn't it so great to know we are all part of this grand work in building up our Lord's Kingdom? It just doesn't get any better than this!
