November 26, 2013

Hello!

So...I'm leaving ^^^! I won't be a "two-area" missionary for my entire mission! I have to say, though, that I was kind of expecting this change to happen. I'm sad to leave all these wonderful people and my awesome companion in ^^^, but I know that the Lord knows what He is doing! I am excited to go somewhere new, just not so excited to pack.... here we go!

I don't know where I'm headed off to, but I will send you a little note on Wednesday letting you know. OR you can call the Mission Office at noon on Wednesday and see where I'm located. They'll have the info.

We had a wonderful transfer... so full of miracles and amazing blessings! Rio was baptized this past Saturday and Friday night we took him and his little brother Eddo to the Temple lights! Hopefully Eddo will follow closely behind his brother and be baptized!

Dad, I loved the slideshow! It made me laugh :) Hahaha! I love when you send me those! Everyone is growing up so fast! I"m glad you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Mine was very nice. We had dinner at a member's home with their kids and grandkids. It was so fun! We only stayed for about an hour, which was fine because all the topics were about stuff I had no clue about: newest movies, books, electronic doodads.... Sitting there I thought to myself, "Wow, I have no idea what to say back! I don't even know what they're talking about! And it's kind of nice." Not knowing much about the worldly world I had a lot of time to sit and reflect on what I DO know: my family, my friends, the Gospel... all my blessings... I loved it :)

After that hour of dinner (more like lunch), we went out and realized we had ALL DAY to do whatever we wanted.... but of course the only places that were open were walmart and the 99 cent store. The Circus wasn't even open, either!  Bummer.... So we went home and DECKED OUT our apartment with all the Christmas decorations we could find! It. Looks. AWESOME. I hope the new Sister likes it!

I went stir-crazy after we decorated and I began making Christmas 12-day countdown chains for all of our investigators and recent converts... I ran out of staples, had cleaned the entire apartment, wrote letters, and STILL had a ton of time left!

But I enjoyed myself. I am so grateful for all that I have.

I'm thankful to my Heavenly Father for sending me such a fantastic support group and "fans" back home! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

This Friday I am going to the Temple to go see Mie and his wife Je be sealed together for all time and eternity!! And then they are having their baby boy in two weeks!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!! GAAA!!!!! :D :D :D THIS is what I live for!!

Oh my goodness, I love it.

See a great week! LOVE YA! * * *
Love, Sister Moore

PS- I come home Tuesday Feb 19th, 2013. Plan Christmas now! ;)
