Family,
WOW! Sounds like everyone had a great time in Yellowstone! I got two of your postcards from Idaho (you went to MESA?!) hehe I appreciated the cards and look forward to getting more throughout the year! Oh, concerning mail, I am glad that the mailmen found my lost stuff and sent it to you! PHEW! But I guess we'll never find out what happened to the other half of your letter!
I hope you all had a great week! I know I did! Things are going well. The weather is getting hot, but I'm now acclimated (the first ten days are KILLER getting used to the heat). No matter what you do and how much water you drink, you just can't shake the headaches. But once your body gets used to the heat all is well. Thank heavens I'm at that point!
So we've picked up a new ward! The day of transfers (wednesday) our two new Zone Leaders texted us and asked if they could drop off our new area book with our new information. A little confused we said, "So, does this mean we're getting a new ward?" ... someone down the line forgot to tell us, but we were excited anyway! We were so afraid that our fourth ward would start church at 11 am... (mind you, all 3 of our wards start at 11 am in different buildings) luckily this one starts at 1 pm! Hallelujah! This ward is BIG (just like ours at home). When the Primary got up to sing I felt right at home; the pews... PODIUM-THING was crammed full of kids, and the ward was so big they even opened the overflow! The wards here are good sized, but just not as big as what I'm used to. It's my dream to have every ward get that big: let's do it!!
This Saturday My is getting baptized! She's way excited. She's quite the jokester, but she does have her moments of reverence, and I know she's ready and willing to be baptized. We also have Ro and Be praying about a wedding/baptism date for July 7th! When we presented them with the idea they were surprisingly more open than I thought they'd be! They were even excited! But they wanted to discuss it furthter together and pray about it. (then in a year I can come back for their sealing!) I really am blessed to live so close to this mission: IT'S THE BEST THING EVER!!
Today for P-day us Sisters in the Zone are going to Costa Vida for my birthday :) My worst nightmare is coming true.... I really DON'T mind the heat, and I really AM starting to like Mexican food!! GA! Who am I?? ;D You just learn to like it when you eat it all the time. MMMmmm.... (Plus it's free for missionaries... Happy Birthday to Me!)
I received a cute package last week from the Activity Day girls and Sister Brown... Birthday stuff! It was such a fun surprise! Tell them thank you for me! (I'll write them anyway to tell them myself; but if you see her...) :)
Well, I best be off!
Just remember that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you and will continue to bless you as you keep the commandments. I'm glad you read the BoM on your roadtrip! How far are you guys? I know that as you continue to read together you will find greater unity and love.
I love you guys so much!! Thank you for your never-ending love and support!!!
HURRAH! HURRAH! HURRAH FOR ISRAEL!!
