Family,

Hey hey hey! Surprise SKYPE!! Mom, I'm glad that you were actually surprised! Way to go, guys! No slipping up on the surprise :) It was sooooo good to SEE you and talk to you!! You all look great, and I'm so happy everyone is doing so well! It was such a great thing for me... you never know how much you really miss someone until you see them again! Goodness, it was wonderful to get to skype with you guys. LOVE!

So, this last week was pretty interesting! Picking up a bunch of new investigators, and getting 'em prepped for baptism! We have a little girl (9 year old) getting baptized on the 26th of May. Her family is in-active, but we saw the mom at church yesterday! The little girl (Pa) is super smart and desires so much to go to church. She comes every week with the neighbors. She's been going regularly for months now. She's amazing!

One of our other investigators is Va. We've only met with her once, she came to church with her oldest (11 year old - So), and wants to join! Oh my goodness, we may just have another baptism at the end of this month! Our goal is to get two baptisms this month... MIRACLE MAY!! Here we go.

It's been getting pretty hot lately... either our car thermometer is broken, or it's really that hot: 107* is the highest I've seen so far! I wouldn't doubt it! Normally I'll wait a few minutes for the thermometer to level out once I turn on the car just to make sure it gets the right temperature.... And that's not even HOT! And don't worry dad: 2 gallons a day! 1 gal of water, 1 gal of sunscreen. I'm good to go.

BUT... here's the exciting thing: we had a GIANT storm last Wednesday! We were biking that day, and I noticed dark clouds in the distance. It was in the 100's, so I figured the storm was going to pass right by us. Either that or be a hot rain.... But after one of our appointments we were getting back onto our bikes and the sky was completely covered in rainclouds... and it was COLD! 80 degrees!! We got caught in the rain and it. was. a.maz.ing........ :D :D As we got to our car to strap our bikes to the bike rack and drive around for the rest of the night, the storm got BAD.. The wind was blowing like crazy and it was POURING. Sister T was screaming and I was laughing so hard... She kept looking up at the street light: "It's going to---AAAAA!!! It will fall on us!!! GOOO!!!!"

Needless to say, I was laughing so hard at her fear of the rain that I dropped my bike while trying to get it up on the rack (my fault for laughing) and it took us even longer to get out of the rain, which caused her to scream more. I reassured her that no, it was NOT a tornado, nor was it a hurricane, OR typhoon. I guess coming from a small island you worry about these things... Gosh, I'm grateful we don't ever have to worry about that back home. After we got safely in the car she turned to me and said, "Sistah Mo... You like all 'dis?! YO CRAZEE!! Now drive!"

:) She's super awesome. Pahaha!

Anyway, the work moves forward.... I am grateful to be here in ^^^... good things ahead! I love it!
I'm glad I got to talk to you again! Only one more time we get to talk! (weird weird weird...)

I LOVE YOU!! And to all you blog-groupies: I LOVE YOU TOO!!
Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah for Israel!

Love, Sister Sunscreen
